Thought owning a 4K TV would cripple your bank balance? Well, not any more, as Hisense has launched a new wallet-friendly 4K offering. Dubbed the Hisense LTDN40K321UWTSEU - catchy, right? - the 40-inch 4K TV will set wannabe owners back just £450.

No, we didn't miss another zero off the end, 4K TVs really have fallen from thousands to just hundreds of pounds in the past couple of years.

This isn't another case of a decent panel in a budget box, either. The affordable TV packs its own smart platform, letting users access 4K content through the likes of Netflix.

Hosting a pair of HDMI 2.0 ports and a USB 3.0 connection for additional input options, the telly is set to launch this autumn.

The 40-inch, £450 4K TV will be joined on retailers' shelves by larger 50-inch and 55-inch models, too, with the slightly more expensive £599 and £699 models still being considerably kinder to your wallet than most alternatives.
