European Music Festival 2017 returns to Hanoi & HCMC

Vietnamese music lovers will have a chance to enjoy a series of spellbinding and enchanting concerts in the European Music Festival 2017 that will take place in Hanoi and HCM City from November 17- December 2.

Concerts featuring artists from Austria, Belgium (Wallonia- Brussels), Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Poland and Sweden will present audiences of all ages a combination of classic and contemporary rhythms. 

Listeners will be taken on a journey exploring melodious and delicate tunes of classic music, improvising and engaging jazz, unique and soulful rhythms of R&B, captivating blues melodies with great songs and special voices.

European Music Festival 2017 will be open in Hanoi with the participation of the Bay Collective- an open project by Vietnamese-Danish pianist Tri Minh and Danish singer/songwriter Nay Ruby, singer Thanh Lam, Denmark singer Michael Møller and Vietnamese artists.

Meanwhile the Ho Chi Minh City’s event will be kicked off with a performance featuring Swedish singer Janice, Mezcal Unit from France and Veronika Harcsa from Hungary, presenting intense and soulful pop, electronic R&B and glowing jazz melodies.

There will be also a series of classical concerts of virtuosity by Duo Karolina Mikolajczyk and Iwo Jedynecki of Poland, Duo Christoph Angerer and Ines Schüttengruber of Austria, Duo Nazareno Ferruggio and Pham Quynh Trang of Italy, Piano Duo Andreas Kern and Paul Cibis ofGermany.

Free tickets are available at Goethe Institute, 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street; L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street; EU Delegation in Vietnam, 24th flr west wing, Lotte building, 54 Lieu Giai Street in Hanoi; and Ho Chi Minh City’s Goethe Institute, 18 Road no. 1, Do Thanh Condominium in District 3 and IDECAF, 31 Thai Van Lung street, District 1.
